Ingredients

  • 24 oz. chicken
  • 2 large carrots
  • 2 celery sticks
  • 1.5 c. chopped onion
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 6 c. water
  • 3 c. milk
  • 1 Tbsp dried parsley
  • 1 Tbsp. chicken buillon
  • 1 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 15 oz. peas
  • 6 oz. egg noodles

Steps

  1. Soften carrots, celery, onion in butter slightly
  2. Boil chicken, shred
  3. Combine chicken, vegetables, herbs, water, milk
  4. Simmer for 1 hour
  5. Add peas and noodles
  6. Simmer until noodles are soft
